The CDCCA was founded in 1998 to support and preserve various Irish and Scottish cultural activities in the Capital District of New York State.  We are a federally recognized tax-exempt organization.

The CDCCA is the local chapter of the Irish American Cultural Institute, an internationally recognized leader in the preservation and promotion of Irish culture and heritage. Locally, we are affiliated with the Capital Region Celtic Pipe Band, Braemar School of Highland Dance, Albany Gaelic Athletic Association, Oran Mor Pipe Band, Scotia Glenville Youth Band, Schenectady Pipe Band and the Albany Irish Rowing Club. Our programs and scholarships make financial and other support available to all Capital District Celtic cultural organizations and activities. The CDCCA is a sustaining member of the United Irish Societies of the Capital District and the Ethnic Groups of the Capital District.

Please help with your support of CELTIC HALL - the cultural, heritage, and athletic facility of the Capital District by sending your membership application and donation today.
