The Irish Perceptions is a nationwide lecture tour arranged through the Irish American Cultural Institute in New Jersey which brings the best of Irish culture and history directly to our American communities. Acclaimed historians, folklorists, artists, museum curators, and musicians, to name a few, present discussions and performances based on their field of expertise. Over the 35-year history of the Series, topics have ranged from traditional music to Irish cuisine, Irish history to the sociological trends in Irish home design. The CDCCA, sponsor of the Capital District presentations for the past eight years, is pleased to announce the first of the Spring 2008 speakers.
